Frequently Asked Questions

How can I enrol on a course?
Click on the big "Go to Course Dates and Enrolment" button on the Homepage of www.physiohealing.com.au (Alternatively, go to the menu item "Course Info and Booking", then to the Upcoming Courses section). After pressing this button, fill in all your details in the fields provided.
Is there a secure online payment option for my course?
Yes. Online payment is available by choosing the NABpay option on the enrolment form of your course, for Secure Online Credit Card processing which will also generate a Tax Invoice. The security of your purchase is ensured by 128 bit encryption and a secure National Australia Bank portal.

Yes. Because of administrative and tracking difficulties with offline payments, all payments must now be made online at the time of booking your course. You will automatically receive a receipt/tax
invoice upon payment. If you need to claim your payment from your

Where is the course venue for the course I would like to attend?
Go to the Upcoming Courses section of the website. Each course listed will have a link to the venue where the course is to be held. If you require a map and directions to the venue which are not found on the link, please put the venue address into www.maps.google.com.au
What time does my course start and finish?
Please refer to the Upcoming Courses section of the website - follow the links to the relevant course, which will state the start and finish time for the course. This can also be found on the course confirmation sheet for your course, which you can download from the Course Confirmation section of the website.
Can I organise accommodation through PHS?
No. Accommodation can be booked directly through the venue. Some venues will offer discounts for course attendees by mentioning this course eg Peppers Christchurch.
For courses held in North Ryde, accommodation can be booked at MGSM Executive Hotel (www.hotel.mgsm.com.au ), and discount rates may be available by caling the hotel and asking for a cheaper rate. Another alternative in North Ryde is Stamford Grand North Ryde ( www.stamford.com.au ) or other hotels sourced through other search engines eg www.wotif.com or www.google.com
Do I have to complete both Levels of a particular course eg Dry Needling or Pilates?
Advanced courses eg Dry Needling Plus Level 2 or Advanced Pilates and Matwork are not compulsory, or required to be able to practice a particular skill. These courses will progress your skill level and enable you to learn more advanced assessment and treatment. Dry Needling guidelines outline that you are only able to needle areas that you have received formal training in, thus if you wish to treat the Thoracic Spine, or Scalenes etc, you must complete the Level 2 training to be able to do this . More advanced exercises and assessment are taught in the Advanced Pilates Mat & Ballwork course, as well as the use of RTUS (please refer to Course Outlines for further information on each course)
Can I go straight to the Advanced Course for Dry Needling?
If you have formal training in Dry Needling or Acupuncture (a minimum of 2 days/16 hours) that meets Australian or New Zealand standards, you may be eligible to go directly onto the Level 2. If you have formal training in Dry Needling besides the Dry Needling Plus approach, and you intend to attend the Level 2, please contact Physiotherapy Healing Solutions to confirm your eligibility. Attending the Level 1 course is still recommended, due to needling and assessment techniques being taught by Dry Needling Plus that are not taught on any other courses, you will pick up a lot more of this Dry Needling approach and increase your needling effectiveness by attending both courses.
If you have not completed Formal training in Dry Needling or Acupuncture or have only completed a one day course eg AOMT, you are not eligible to proceed to the Level 2 course until this is completed.
